Classes & Curriculum

Your student’s learning plan is a collaborative effort between you and your teacher. You choose the tools and resources for math, language arts, science, social studies, and electives that you feel best meet your learning style as you meet skills, and we provide support, collaboration, field trips, and funding throughout the year to help accomplish your goals.

We reimburse for many curriculum choices, classes and lessons. If you choose curriculum that is not eligible for reimbursement (such as religious materials), we’ll still support you and offer our expertise to help meet

skills. We’ll also help you find other ways to maximize your reimbursements.

Electives are a fantastic way to enrich learning. You choose elective options that work best for your family. Electives can be simple and informal such as art instruction given at home, or you can choose more formal instruction such as piano lessons or a P.E. class. Electives are flexible and can be changed throughout the year as often as you feel necessary.

Whether you're a seasoned homeschooler or just starting your homeschooling journey, teachers are here to help

Teachers can be a wealth of information as you explore the abundance of resources and make decisions that will

best meet the needs of your family and individual learning styles of your student(s).

We offer a wide variety of free, online courses to our students that can provide core of supplemental instruction in math, language arts, writing, science, social studies, and enrichment type classes. These classes are taught virtually on specific days and times and are a great way to learn directly from licensed teachers and connect with other students.

*7th and 8th graders have a couple of state requirements which our teachers can explain and help you meet, often in ways you are already doing with your current learning plan. Instruction is required in health, P.E, and digital literacy some time during the 7th and/or 8th grade year and Career Explorations is required during 8th grade.

Dual Enrollment is also available to 7th and 8th graders who would like to attend up to two classes at a local public school. Ask us for more details..
